Just had a week off and have to say it's been good! got some of the jobs done that needed doing and had some fun as well.
Not only that but what a weekend to finish off with!!!!! Thanks Donna xxxxxx (My wife's the best!!)

Hooray, i'm back!! wasn't that difficult really, just needed to think about it a little more.
I'm sure that this blogging lark is fun and worth keeping going, but when you're new to it, remembering all the in's and out's and being busy don't mix. Still back online now and will add regularly.

BACK TO WORK !!!

What a day! Lorries not starting, burst pipes, icy yard, you name it, we've had it.

Even more sadly we have had the time to deal with these things because we haven't been busy hiring. Customers have been sparse to say the least and I can only hope that business picks up very quickly, but this very cold weather would seem to be against us. (Builders must be nesh people).

Come on Builders there's work to be done........................................

Happier news

Unfortunately my father-in-law, Dave, is still in Hospital, however today he was able to let us know the medical name of what is wrong and he has been told that he should be in for the next two weeks whilst they get the antibiotics right and then there's a good chance that he'll be allowed home.
News like this is very welcome and we can't wait to make up for him, the Christmas that he missed.

Some people don't deserve to be poorly like this and Dave is certainly one of them.

Best wishes Dave for a good fast recovery.

BUSY DAY

Took Ben to by himself a new wardrobe, which came flat pack so we had a laugh putting it together.
Then went to see my father in law in hospital :-( he's getting better and we all hope he's well enough to come home soon. Sadly he's on a ward where people keep dying around him, which obviously doesn't make him feel good, not surprisingly. All we can say is hurry home Dave.

My gorgeous wife Donna has picked up a new phone today. She is only slightly excited (Understatement) and looks to have suddenly jumped into the 21st century. lots of applications to play with, some that she previously said she would never use on my phones??. Can't help but love that woman.
